Week 14 Recap
The G-League · 2025
Ladies and gentlemen, kuppmylifetopieces has now lost ten games in a row. Ten. We said the kup had been emptied and shelved and repurposed as a planter and left in the rain — and now we have to report that the rain never stopped, the planter dissolved, and what remains has been composted back into the earth. Sun God Welcome Committee delivered the latest indignity by forty-four points, one thirty-two to eighty-seven, and at this stage the Welcome Committee isn't welcoming kuppmylifetopieces to anything except the off-season. Sun God Welcome Committee is first place, ten and four, riding a two-game win streak, and they have now survived a knife fight, absorbed a roundhouse, and lapped the field in the standings. The postseason is not a question for them — the question is whether anyone can make it uncomfortable.
The answer might be sitting at second place, because Allen my ass is operating at a frequency that does not allow for doubt. Five straight wins. One thirty-five to eighty-five over Gadsden my Johnston, a fifty-point margin that was less a football game and more a formal announcement. For context: Gadsden my Johnston held the season high with one sixty-six back in Week 4 and spent weeks being discussed as the most dangerous team nobody was talking about. This week they posted eighty-five and change, and Allen my ass barely blinked. Sixteen twenty-eight points for on the season — most in the league — nine and five, and a win streak that has quietly turned a good team into something that feels inevitable. Gadsden my Johnston falls to seven and seven, the cannon from last week's recap apparently left in the locker room.
World's Most Overrated, a franchise that has spent this entire season losing games by half a point and two points and living inside the margins, went out and won by forty-five. ImAStroudPenix posted a season-low fifty-five fifty-six — the worst single-week number anyone in this league has put up all year, and yes, that includes the kup — and World's Most Overrated, of all people, delivered the beatdown. Five and nine is still five and nine, but there is something almost poetic about the team that lost two coin-flip games and then a knife fight finally just deciding to throw the table.
Taylor made wins again, this time by eight and a half over Multiple Scoregasms — ninety-two to eighty-four. Three game win streak. Nine and five. The team that spent three weeks being tortured by decimal points and two more weeks just barely surviving is now quietly, stubbornly, infuriatingly good. They are not flashy about it. They are just there, every week, edging or grinding or doing whatever is required, and they are in the playoffs. Multiple Scoregasms drops to six and eight on a two-game skid, which is a steep fall for a team that was parallel parking school buses into compact spots just a few weeks ago.
Goat Mode handled MARK SHANKCHEZ by twenty-nine — one nineteen to ninety — and that is two straight losses for SHANKCHEZ, who entered the week at eight and five with genuine playoff credibility and now sits at eight and six needing help. Goat Mode, meanwhile, is nine and five and has answered every question asked of them over the last month. The Burrenaissance took care of All of the Sutton by thirty-nine, their second straight win, and a seven-and-seven record that smells remarkably like a team that has figured something out at exactly the right moment.
Sun God Welcome Committee, Allen my ass, Taylor made, and Goat Mode are in. Everything else is arithmetic and anxiety.
Next week, four teams fight over the last two playoff spots, and somebody who just won three in a row is about to find out that timing is the cruelest statistic in this league.

Ten straight. Ten straight losses for kuppmylifetopieces — and this week the Sun God Welcome Committee turned that burial into a ceremony. A hundred thirty-two to eighty-eight. Welcome to Roastadium Tonight, Week 14 of the G-League, where the playoff field is set, someone just posted the worst score of the entire season, and Allen my ass is on a five-game win streak that nobody is talking about enough.
Let's start there. Allen my ass dismantled Gadsden my Johnston by fifty points. A hundred thirty-five to eighty-five. Gadsden my Johnston — the team that dropped a hundred sixty-six in Week 4, the team with the most total points in this league, a number that is now just a museum exhibit — got folded in half and handed back like a receipt. That is a two-game losing streak for Gadsden my Johnston, back to seven and seven, and the cannon they showed up with a few weeks ago is apparently out of ammunition. Allen my ass meanwhile is nine and five, riding five straight wins, and sitting on the most total points in the league at sixteen twenty-eight. They are the loudest quiet threat in this field. You have been warned.
Sun God Welcome Committee is your regular season champion at ten and four. They handled kuppmylifetopieces cleanly, and kup — look, we said the kup was a doorstop last week. We were wrong. It has since been taken to the curb, rained on, run over, and nobody drove back around the block.
The Burrenaissance over All of the Sutton, a hundred thirty-three to ninety-four. Two straight wins for the Renaissance, back to seven and seven, and a reminder that this team showed up in Week 2 and blew out Goat Mode by fifty — they have always had the ceiling. Now they have the timing.
World's Most Overrated over ImAStroudPenix, a hundred one to fifty-five. Fifty-five. That is the lowest score this league has posted all season. ImAStroudPenix goes out in Week 14 like a candle in a wind tunnel. Four and ten. The Stroud-Penix partnership has become strictly a cautionary tale told to future drafters.
Goat Mode handled MARK SHANKCHEZ by twenty-nine. Goat Mode finishes at nine and five. SHANKCHEZ drops to eight and six on a two-game skid, which after last week's forty-seven point loss to Sutton makes for a rough end to a regular season that genuinely had some shine on it.
Taylor made survives Multiple Scoregasms by eight. Ninety-two to eighty-four. That is Taylor made's third straight win and ninth win overall — and after spending half this season defusing bombs, they finally got to win one by just walking out the front door. Multiple Scoregasms, two straight losses now, exits the regular season quietly.
Ten and four, Sun God at the top. Four teams at nine and five. The bracket is brutal, the scores are set, and somebody who feels comfortable right now is about to find out comfort was the wrong thing to feel.
Next week, the playoffs begin — and in this league, nothing is safe until the final decimal drops.
